Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Doo It Right (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit our website or use our pet waste removal services.
Information We Collect
When you request a quote, schedule service, or contact us, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and service address. We only collect the information needed to provide and manage your pet waste removal service.
We may also automatically collect basic technical information, such as your browser type, device, and pages visited, to help us improve our website. Some of this information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, but only after you agree to them. See the "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" section below for details.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to schedule and deliver service, send appointment reminders and service notifications, respond to your questions, process payments, and keep you informed about your account.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for money. If you accept cookies, some website activity is shared with advertising partners, as explained in the "Your California Privacy Rights" section below.
Sharing Your Information
We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate our business, such as payment processors and scheduling or communication tools. These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services on our behalf.
If you accept cookies, certain website activity (such as pages viewed and whether you submitted a service request) is shared with Meta Platforms, Google, and Microsoft through the tools described below. These companies may use this information under their own privacy policies.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our customers, our team, or the public.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You may update or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. You can also opt out of promotional messages while continuing to receive essential service-related communications.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. When you first visit our website, a banner asks whether you accept or decline optional cookies. Advertising and analytics tools do not load unless you click "Accept All." If you click "Decline," they stay off.
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.): measures how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work, including whether a visitor who clicked an ad later requested service, and helps us show relevant ads. Learn more at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Google Analytics (Google LLC): helps us understand how visitors find and use our website, such as which pages are viewed and for how long. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): records how visitors interact with our pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, so we can find and fix usability problems. Learn more at privacy.microsoft.com.
We also use Vercel Analytics to count page visits. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
We save your cookie choice on your device for 12 months so the banner does not appear on every visit. You can change your choice at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the website footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we automatically treat it as a decline. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage your ad preferences directly with Meta and Google.
Your California Privacy Rights
We serve customers in California. This section explains your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA").
Categories we collected in the past 12 months: identifiers (such as your name, email address, phone number, and service address); commercial information (such as the services you requested or purchased); internet or network activity (such as pages viewed and interactions with our website, collected only if you accept cookies); and approximate location based on your service address or IP address. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
Sources and purposes: we collect this information directly from you and from your device when you use our website. We use it to provide and schedule service, communicate with you, process payments, improve our website, and measure and deliver advertising.
Sale and sharing: we do not sell personal information for money. However, if you accept cookies, the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics share internet activity with Meta Platforms and Google for cross-context behavioral advertising, which the CCPA may treat as "selling" or "sharing." We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Retention: we keep customer and service information for as long as you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterward to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Website activity data is kept by our analytics and advertising partners according to their own retention settings.
Your rights: you have the right to (1) know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share about you; (2) request a copy of your personal information; (3) request that we delete it; (4) request that we correct inaccurate information; (5) opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and (6) not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised them.
How to opt out: click the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the website footer and choose "Decline." We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, we automatically treat it as an opt-out.
How to submit a request: contact us by phone or email using the details below. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. To protect your information, we will verify your identity by matching details you provide (such as your name, phone number, and service address) with our records. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for signed permission and ask you to verify your identity directly.
Shine the Light: California residents may ask us once a year for information about personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.
